Mysterious story about a spider web made of jewels

On 7 July 2009, Lebanese couturier Georges Chakra has shown his fall/winter 2009/10 Haute Couture collection inspired by the glamorous 1920s fashion with sparkling jewels on shoulders, beads and feathers during Paris Fashion Week. George Chakra's keywords for this collection are 'fluidity' and 'chic glamour'.

Since 2002, the Lebanese born and raised, in Canada trained couturier Georges Chakra presents Haute Couture collections twice a year at the Paris Fashion Week. Chakra's Haute Couture was featured in the movie "The Devil wears Prada". In February 2009, he had shown his first Ready-to-Wear collection during the New York Fashion Week (video below).

The story plays at night in a web of gold and gemstones - the thread is burgundy colored
Imagine a woman - her body is captured in a spider web made of jewellery that is moved by whirlwinds; on the sleeves you can see the effects of these whirlwinds where the gemstones are treasured up. Georges Chakra gives the story a thrilling touch by placing the cutouts seductively revealing the skin. The mysterious glam-story is colored in blacks that shimmer like midnight blue, lively burgundy, and the metallics gold and silver.

The glass touch material of George Chakra's dresses from the first part of the video can be found in fall/winter 2009/10 even in sportive collections for men; probably one of the most favored materials of the season. It is the couturier's first Ready-to-Wear presentation
