#Music #video #game: 'Shadow On The Run' by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club on new Batman video game

The track 'Shadow On The Run' by the three members band 'Black Rebel Motorcycle Club' (founded 1998 by the San Francisco duo Peter Hayes and Robert Levon Been; since 2008 drummer Leah Shapiro - played before with 'The Raveonettes') is - by fast checking - the first one of the album 'Batman: Arkham City' (release 4 Oct) which is made public. Other contributors of original songs to the dark images of the video game are 'Panic! At The Disco' (Mercenary), 'The Duke Spirit' (Creature), 'Blaqk Audio' (Afterdark), 'Raveonettes' (Oh, Stranger)... It is announced that the 12 songs will be exclusively published on the Batman album.

The video game 'Batman: Arkham City' (comes out on 18 October) is even available with download code for the album with the bonus track 'A Place to Bury Strangers' (In The Shadow).

Trailer (song 'Short Change Hero' by The Heavy): Catwoman (without mask) appears in 'Batman: Arkham City' as playable character. "Throughout the course of the game, you’ll take on sequences where you control Catwoman instead of Batman.  She’ll level up throughout the game just as Batman does, and she’ll even have her own set of abilities."  batmanarkhamcity.org/catwoman-is-a-playable-character-in-batman-arkham-city/
