Blickfang Wien Insights: Edition 33 is the winner of the Blickfang Designpreis, category 'Furniture & Product'; Mode Wien of the Vienna Fashion Guild presented designers like Manufaktur Herzblut

Practical solutions for indoor and outdoor spaces was also a topic at the booth of the German brand Edition 33 such as the tray-table Tangens. The name of the brand refers to the principle of how the order and production are processed. Only in the case that 33 orders arrive for a design in a limited time period, the production starts. Otherwise the money will be transferred back. In the case of the Tangens tray-table, the time period ends with 22 November (fest checked today at edition33.eu). On the opening day on 21 November, Edition 33 was selected by the jury for this year's Blickfang Designpreis in the furniture and product category 'Möbel & Produkt'. The 'Mode Wien' booth presented the variety of fashion designed by the members of the Vienna State Guild of Fashion and Clothing Technology (Landesinnung Wien der Mode und Bekleidungstechnik) which runs under the name 'Mode Wien' several services like a website at modewien.at, an exclusive print magazine, an academy, or an own store at the Bauernmarkt. The opening was attended by members like Markus Spatzier, founder of the label Manufaktur Herzblut who spoke about his fashion inspired by Austrian traditional clothing and how he derives his inspirations from visits of the art galleries like at the Kunsthistorische Museum in Vienna. The designer created the stage outfit of the Lumix singer Pia Maria for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin. Highlight of the outfit was a top with trompe l'oeil effect. Actually eye-catching at the Mode Wien booth presentation of Manufaktur Herzblut were the designer's signature textile prints developed from digitally re-worked and transformed historical art works and architectural elements.
