Salzburg Insight: Tips for visiting the 'City of Mozart' during the upcoming Salzburg Festival

Karin Sawetz, publisher of the Vienna-based magazine Fashion.at, is rarely in Salzburg and gets her tips for the city mainly from Salzburg insiders who live and work in the western Austrian state. Earlier this month, just in time for the start of the Salzburg Festival on 20 July, Fashion.at provided already insights into the new design of a jewelry store and the program of public screenings of selected operas and historical films. Now, Fashion.at has received new tips for the 'City of Mozart', as Salzburg is also known, from a source that works for elegant and glamorous labels and stores from the fashion and beauty industry as well as gastronomy. Recommended are shops such as Meindl Authentic Luxury, the Max Mara flagship store, or the new Corseterie concept store.

In the list of tips also mentioned are beauty hotspots like Sturmayr Coiffeure hairdressers and Cosmetic Sabine Schuha. Additionally recommended are the Hotel Villa Carlton as a cool and artistic boutique hotel and the culinary destination Das Wolfgang restaurant at the Salzburg Airport.
