Insights into the traveler book 'Guided Vienna 2019/20'

Fashion.at received a copy of the latest version of the printed traveler book 'Guided Vienna' (German/English) containing tips where stores - from fashion to home accessories - and gastronomy locations preferred by the Viennese design and art scene can be found. It's the 9th year in a row that the city guide in an edition of around 45.000 printed books is distributed via hotels, gastro hot spots as well as the website guided-vienna.com where it can be downloaded as electronic edition (PDF document) or browsed through by categories like ‘Guided Shops’.

'Eat + Drink' locations make around half of the destination points at the maps of 'Guided Vienna 2019/20'; among them, the new 'Café Hildebrandt'. The cafe located at the Volkskundemuseum (Austrian Folk Life and Folk Art Museum) opened this year in January with a new healthy cuisine concept (article about the opening).

According to the publishers of Guided Vienna, around 40% of the tips are new each year. One of the destinations which are listed for the first time is the store Gottfried & Söhne at the Jewish Museum. The store provides Israeli design from all over the world as well as posters, catalogues of the museum's exhibitions such as to the currently running 'Three with a pen' show (article about the catalogue).
