The three floors, 600 square-metres venue is store, event location (culture, art) and exhibition space. Right, middle: sewing threads, leather cutting and stitching tools. Right, below: the image shows a children's vehicle. Image left: insight into the presentation space with car and materials for the cars' visual designs. What can't be depicted is the DS World Paris fragrance which welcomes the visitor already at the entrance door. The olfactory space experience is designed by Scentys, a fragrance diffusion expert, and perfumer Antoine Lie who was inspired by the DS spirit for his composition consisting of ginger, cardamom, iris powder, clear musks, Chinese cedar and Haitian vetiver. Visitors can take the spirit home; DS World Paris boutique has packed it also into a candle.

Citroën's car design space with own fragrance at the high-fashion area in Paris

In late November 2013, Citroën opened the DS World with insights into the car maker's construction heritage (first DS launched in 1955) and visual designs at the 'Golden Triangle' area in Paris. Like at high-fashion boutiques in the neighborhood, visitors will find an own Citroën fragrance at the showroom.

The 'Golden Triangle' stands for French-style luxury such as Sabine Le Masson Pannetrat, responsible for the global brand design of ligne DS, explains (video) the decision of Citroën for the location. The cars appear in a showroom concept that is inspired by high-fashion boutiques. The showroom in Paris is the second after DS World Shanghai was opened earlier this year in March 2013.

Video: Thierry Metroz (Styling Director, DS Line) and Kristin Lipinksi (Colours and Materials Stylist) speak about the special edition of the Citroën DS3 DS World Paris (limited to 15 units). Kristin Lipinski was inspired for the visual design of the car by the Art Deco architecture of the DS World and French artisanal. The special edition of the DS3 was designed specially for the opening of the DS World Paris. (Photos of the DS3 DS World Paris)
