On occasion of the World Environment Day on 5th June 2009, the homeshop La Redoute presented t-shirts for women and men, created by the La Redoute employees themselves. The two creations had been selected in an internal competition. On the same day the movie 'Home' directed and photographed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, produced and co-directed by Luc Besson, and financed François-Henri Pinault, chairman and CEO of the PPR Group (La Redoute, Boucheron, Gucci, Sergio Rossi, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Puma, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta...) was released in over 50 countries in movie theatres, on TV, DVD and Internet. The total purchase goes to the organisation GoodPlanet www.goodplanet.org, founded by the movie director Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
