For SS2013, Augustin Teboul plays with femininity which is packed into androgyny patterns derived from men's suits, transparent lace leggings and head jewellery with a touch of 16th century Italian Renaissance style.

The setting of the fashion installation at the Salon Dahlmann in Berlin was designed by scenographer Zana Bosnjak, live music by pianist Julien Quentin, styling by Mody Al Khufash, flowers arranged by Fleurops 'Junge Wilde'.

German language film report about the Augustin Teboul Spring/Summer 2013 collection and presentation with statements by fashion professionals like German Vogue Chief Editor Christiane Arp, Melissa Drier from Women's Wear Daily', etc is provided by Euromaxx on youtu.be.

Fashion inspired by mid-19th century literature

...seen at the new Spring/Summer 2013 collection by the French/German design duo Augustin Teboul at the Berlin Fashion Week on 4 July 2012. Augustin Teboul was founded in 2009 and received already attention by magazines like Vogue and several awards such as last year the highest prized German Fashion Honor 'SYFB 2011'. The label is not only known for entirely black colored collections and the combinations of crocheted fabrics, laces, embroideries with floating shiny materials and leather; the duo has created an own 'fashion story telling' style for the presentation of seasonal collections in settings of installations.

The fashionably visualized stories are inspired by literature such as Little Red Head is based upon Brothers Grimm's tale 'Rotkäppchen' - only that the Augustin Teboul version leaves the viewers in doubt if 'Monsieur Wolf' and the girl have changed the roles.

For Augustin Teboul Spring/Summer 2013, the inspiring source is the decadent erotic poetry 'Les Fleurs du Mal' (The Flowers of Evil) by Charles Baudelaire from the mid-19th century.
