Some days ago, Fashionoffice has started the annual review of most requested topics, themes with the overall quantitative ranking of most viewed articles counted with the web measurement service Google Analytics, which is installed on the pages of the Fashionoffice websites (main domains Fashion.at and Beautyme.com). A closer, more qualitative view at the top ranking content shows that the pandemic left a deep track in fashion and beauty this year. Pandemic related articles in sum after performance data and topic make the highest amount of traffic on the domains. The following ranking (after pageviews and articles addressing the topic pandemic) tells an almost chronological story of the Covid-19 crisis starting with the in society partly very emotionally discussed benefit of masks without or rare references to scientific studies. Science vs. emotions is another characteristic of 2020.
