The curators Werner Fenz (Austria), Živko Grozdanić (Serbia), Mirjana Peitler (Austria/Serbia) have selected contemporary artists like Milan Blanuša, Balint Szombati, Ivan Zupanc, etc to give an insight into the current social and political Serbian reality by using the language of art.

The Serbian contemporary art is characterized by the wartime in Ex-Yugoslavia during the 90ies. Ten years after the new countries had been formed, the society is able to reflect about what happened. The exhibition doesn't aim to provide generally valid explanations for historical facts, but questions them by presenting the personal views of contemporary Serbian artists. The exhibition is realised in intense cooperation with the Museum of Contemporary Art Vojvodina in Novi Sad.
