saskia van drimmelen was born in zwijndrecht in the netherlands. she graduated from the arnhem academy of arts in 1993 and presented her first collection in paris in 1994 as part of "Le Cri Néerlandais" (a group of six dutch designers: pascal gatzen, marcel verheijen, lucas ossendrijver, viktor & rolf and saskia van drimmelen) at the institut néerlandais.
