"It's a story of a mermaid born in the forest who dreams of returning to the sea." Tsumori Chisato. The Japanese designer embroidered this story in silk and cotton. Soft crinkle silks, patchwork, quiltings capture the sea breeze. The sea pearls are the mermaid's souvenir. Tsumori Chisato is designer for more then 20 years. She studied fashion at the famous Bunka school in Tokyo. 1977 she worked as an assistant for Issey Miyake. 1990 Tsumori Chisato launched her own label and has won many awards in the following years. next designer: Gaspard Yurkievich >>>
