Tiberius presents new line of streetwear inspired by protective gear under the brand name 'to do's'

Tiberius references with the new brand name 'to do's' the Spanish word 'todos' ('everybody') as well as the English word combination 'to do'. In this sense, the to do's of nowadays are for everybody around the world currently the same: distance, masks, hygiene. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, corona tests are everywhere in the world a topic concerning the amount of tests per day, the organisation of the so-called test streets or the occurring IT problems for registrations and test results such as it happened yesterday in Austria on occasion of the start of the mass testings carried out by health care staff in protective gear. The PPE, the personal protective equipment with special coveralls became signature for 2020.

Vienna-based Tiberius started as fetish fashion brand founded by Karl Ammerer in 1992 and has turned since 2004 under the art direction of Marcos Valenzuela into a label with strong focus on exclusive couture. Now in the challenging time of 2020, Tiberius surprises with a new fashion answer to the pandemic: Urban commuter streetwear with the name 'to do's' made from the material 'Tyvek' by Dupont. Tyvek is used for fabrics for personal protective equipment (PPE) during Ebola or SARS epidemics or now during the Covid-19 pandemic. The to do's pieces can be disinfected and washed (40° celsius). As an additional feature, the streetwear can be individually customized with prints.
