Tyrolean brand Giesswein presents 'Merino Runner' sneakers with Kim Cattrall and Diane Kruger

Austrian brand Giesswein is known for comfortable wool shoes and classical fashion with a sporty touch of alpine mountaineer style. The products of the in Brixlegg, Tyrol headquartered company are mainly made of wool from sheeps, especially merino wool which is knitted and treated with special techniques for making the fabric weather-resistant and durable. The company's history has started more than 65 years ago in 1954 with the production of clothing from felted wool. Through the years, Giesswein continued the research and development on wool, expanded the product range such as by the 'Merino Runner' sneakers and increased the international online distribution. In 2019, Giesswein sold 1.000.000 wool shoes and counts today to the most important producers in this field in Europe.
