22 January 2022 Fashion.at searched for comfortable outfits for late summer, autumn and found some pieces at the latest press information about the Viennese brand Fateeva by Elizaveta Fateeva who studied under Bernhard Willhelm, Veronique Branquinho, and Raf Simons at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. For her label, the designer with international fashion experience and production knowledge creates collections from overproduced materials. At the website fateeva.net, a video for an insight into the design and production process including the search of deadstock materials is published (also on view in a post on Instagram @fateeva.studio). The Austrian in 1983 in Russia born Elizaveta Fateeva founded her own brand in 2017 while working for Lanvin as Head Designer Men's Shoes in Paris (2012 to 2018). Before (2011 and 2012), she was designer of men's and women's shoes at Jil Sander in Milan, and later in 2018 and 2019, Creative Consultant Women's Shoes at Salvatore Ferragamo. Elizaveta Fateeva who has received over the years support by the Austrian Fashion Association and the Vienna Business Agency counts with her approach to the design and production of everyday wear in couture quality produced by local artisans to the protagonists of the Viennese slow fashion movement for reducing the waste of resources. The label withstands the pressure to present in seasonal cycles in favor to close the life-cycle of unused premium materials. |
