Seasonable and long-lasting fashion trends at MQ Vienna Fashion Week: Callisti presents AW22/23 with reinterpretation of the best cuts from the past few years with focus on patterns and autumn colors

MQ Vienna Fashion Week is rather associated with long-lasting fashion trends and seasonable fashion presentations than fast fashion or collections wearable next year. The Viennese fashion style propagates the here and now without being timed. Vienna-based Callisti is one of the representatives of this Viennese Style. Callisti was founded by Martina Mueller-Callisti in 2007 with a store in the 8th district of Vienna. Later, the store moved to the 1st district and was expanded by an online shop. Callisti is known for ready-to-wear with a touch of glam applied to practical, sporty everyday clothing and couture collections developed for the Viennese ball season and worn by celebrities like Brooke Shields who was dressed in a Callisti gown for the Vienna Opera Ball in 2016.

On 15 September at 19:00, the new Callisti collection will be on show at the MQ Vienna Fashion Week which runs this year from 12 to 17 September. In terms of the fashion carousel tradition of showing next year's collections, the clocks tick differently in Vienna. Some would say 'zeitgemässer', German for 'more contemporary' or simply 'seasonable' fashion creations without focus on short-living trends. Callisti is a good example for these up-to-date fashion presentations. The new Autumn/Winter 2022/23 collection 'The Reversal' is - as announced in the press release - "all about modification & transformation" referencing the development of the collection. Designer Martina Mueller-Callisti looked back on the past few years and reinterpreted some of the best cuts with focus on patterned fabrics and autumn colors like terracotta or orange.
