Trend piece Autumn/Winter presented with DIY knit kit by Lana Grossa in collaboration with eyewear collection by Andy Wolf

The last days were summerly warm in Vienna. Over the weekend, temperatures drop to comfortable autumn degrees of around 10 to 15° Celsius, where they level off through the rest of the month. According to the season forecast of the Austrian official weather service ZAMG, the average temperature for the period from September to November 2022 is around 8.2°C (fast checked today). From the end of November, early December winter temperatures with snow and ice will change the people's needs for warm outfits. The Austrian ski resorts for example open in the most cases in early and mid-December (winter openings checked today at austria.info). Enough time for knitting the Autumn/Winter trend piece balaclava which fits the urban outfits of city walkers as well as the mountain sports apparel of skiers and snowboarders in the alps!

The balaclava on view on this page is from the charity DIY knit kit by hand knitting yarn supplier Lana Grossa presented together with the new collection of 6 frame models by the Austrian eyewear company Andy Wolf. The visual concept of both are stripes. The limited edition of eyewear models, each with an inner ring, and the DIY-kit consisting of 8 balls of yarn, knitting and crochet hooks, a knitting hat and matching instructions for pieces such as a striped balaclava and glasses case will be available from November at www.andy-wolf-store.com and selected Lana Grossa retailers (European stores and online shops directory published at lana-grossa.de). The knit set costs 80.- Euro, the net proceeds will be donated to the children's hospice Sterntalerhof.
