Exploring St. Marxer cemetery where prominent Viennese citizens like W. A. Mozart were once buried
Tomorrow on 23 August, a special guided exploration of one of the city's oldest cemeteries, the St Marxer Friedhof at the 3rd district of Vienna can be joined. Meeting point with guides, historians from the district museum, is at 15:00 at the entry at Leberstrasse 6. Due to Covid-19 restrictions it's obligatory to get registered to join the tour (details at bezirksmuseum.at).

The picture right shows the memorial of W. A. Mozart who was burried somewhere in a grave for the poor. It's not known where Mozart's mortal remains are lying at St. Marxer Friedhof.
