Daniel Spoerri's artwork standing for socializing, culinary, taste, zest for life will be exhibited at Kunstforum Wien from 24 March until 27 June

The picture on this page shows parts of the invitation to the press conference on occasion of the opening of the retrospective of the oeuvre of Daniel Spoerri who celebrates this year on 27th March his 91st birthday. It's a pity that this press conference will be held digitally - especially in the case of an exhibition of works by an artist who is known for Eat-Art (happenings with artists in his restaurant with enclosed gallery) or for Tableaux piège (fixed objects arranged and left during and after social gatherings) of dinner or morning coffee tables. Even journalists who are perhaps rare guests at press conferences would have joined the event because of the positive feelings that are expressed by Daniel Spoerri's art: The joy in being close to others!
