The 'relaxed' lockdown with re-opened stores starts with new rules: FFP2 masks, one customer per 20 square meters and 2 meters distance

From tomorrow the 8th February, the more 'relaxed' lockdown starts. Stores including supermarkets have to keep an eye on the amount of customers at once inside a location. The new rules foresee 20 square meters per person. Additionally, people have to keep a distance of 2 meters between each other and wear FFP2 masks. The 8th February will become a test for the trade business, for customers and staff how successfully they can take care for each other. Additionally to the more tightened measures, many stores have announced to offer up to minus 50% (or even more) discount prices which can cause more traffic at the shopping streets.

The McArthurGlen Designer Outlets in Salzburg and Parndorf are two of the country's destinations which offer the best prices. The outlets are known for well managed facilities and gained through the years the reputation of trusted shopping locations. On occasion of the re-opening of the outlets on 8th February, McArthur Glen (Bureau Veritas SafeGuard Covid-19 certified) presented the currently applying rules (20 square meters per person,...) for the safety and wellbeing of customers and employees (McArthur Glen is one of the largest employers in Austria).

The designer outlets Salzburg and Parndorf open tomorrow at 9:00. So let's play it safe with discipline! There is enough fashion on stock for everyone!
