Vienna Insight: Video walk through the new open-air fitness area 'Malu Sportsclub X Atombody' at the Vienna Ice Skating Club

At the beginning of this week on 10th May, the Viennese 'Malu Sportsclub' in collaboration with 'Atombody' (provider of nutritional supplements like vitamins, minerals, proteins,... with focus on sports and active lifestyle) opened the new outdoor gym 'Malu Sportsclub X Atombody' at the open-air area of the Vienna Ice Skating Club, the Wiener Eislaufverein. In the past over five decades until 1997, the area was used in summer for wrestling tournaments (details with historical photos of the 'Heumarkt Catch Wrestling' at the website of the House of Austrian History hdgoe.at/catch_wrestling). More recently, the ice skating area was turned in the summer months into the beach club 'Sand In The City' with several gastronomy and bar locations.

The outdoor gym now appears like a perfect mix of the place's sporty entertainment history and the beach club atmosphere, especially as the makers of the outdoor gym 'Malu Sportsclub X Atombody' have set up a chill-out zone and together with Red Bull a gastro-location.

In the video (embedded below), Malu's Erwin Tauber walks through the outdoor gym speaking with sports club members at the training machines and visiting the yoga zone.
