Preview of the stage outfits of the representatives of Austria LUM!X feat. Pia Maria at the Eurovision Song Contest (10, 12, 14 May) in Turin, Italy

Austria will be represented at this year's Eurovision Song Contest from 10 to 14 May in Turin, Italy by the duo DJ LUM!X (aka Luca Michlmayr) and singer Pia Maria who have teamed up for the empowering song 'Halo'. The pop-song for the dance floor is an anthem for resilience, for finding power in oneself also in difficult situations. The first Eurovision stage performance of 'Halo' will happen on 10th May, when LUM!X feat. Pia Maria appear as the 13th band in Europe's largest music competition with Europe-wide TV broadcasts. The schedule of the performances is published by the Austrian broadcaster of the Eurovision Song Contest ORF at tv.orf.at.

The video for the song was released around one month ago. It was shot at the art history museum Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. The costumes of the video's dance crew reach from classic baroque to nowadays fashionable interpretations of rococo. The two musicians appear in outfits made of glossy black material. For the Eurovision stage in Turin, LUM!X and Pia Maria will continue the costume concept of the video. DJ Luca Michlmayr who lives currently in Milan, is dressed by Italian stylist Andreas Mercante in a club wear look with 90s dance floor touch. Pia Maria, living in Tyrol, Austria, collaborated with 'Manufaktur Herzblut'. The Vienna-based brand was founded by the Tyrolean Markus Spatzier whose fashion is developed - such as introduced at m-herzblut.com/m-spatzier - from the designer's passion for morbid romance in combination with rocking folklore.
