The Topmodel look

The 'Topmodel'-series are beloved in many countries! People enjoy the easy stories around young, beautiful women who are dreaming of a career in the chic fashion business which ends for most of them - assumed they become models, in their mid-twenties. For reaching this aim, the women are even willing to pose (like you can see in a shooting with photographer Rankin on this video) at a firewall, only protected by thin glass.

It's easy to chill at the Topmodel-series because even other dramatic situations, such as when starmodels and photographers are setting young women under psychic stress, are harmless. The jury's obvious wilful provocation for the sake of the camera causes that the dramatic scene becomes un-real - and on this way harmless in the eyes of the viewer.

The young women in the Topmodel-series are dressed up so nice in trendy clothes and beautiful make up.

They have inspired Fashionoffice for the 'Topmodel'-look on this page. Get a pretty look apart from TV-reality but for the real world!

Make up by Clinique, Fall 2010 (comes into stores in August). The make up artists at Clinique had been inspired by the catwalk looks from Milan, Paris, New York where the models wore colorful eye styles. The model on this page wears the 'Instant Lift for Brows'. Unforunately, the 'lift for brows' is not part of the product group as you can see on the picture - because it is really interesting. It has two ends with two nude colors called soft brown and deep brown. The model has the darker one on the brows and the lighter one below it. The effect is that the eyes get a brighter look. What seems to be a lip gloss on this page is a shimmering eye cream. The pencil that is lying on the eye shadow is an eye liner. And for the ones who think now that green mascara is in fashion: only the brush is green - the mascara itself colors your lashes black.

Lemon Sage Thickening Spray (to be used onto clean, wet hair; without rinsing it off) by Paul Mitchell, SS2010. In May 2010, the US label presented the new product to journalists. Fashionoffice has tested it: the spray holds the label's promises and brings volume even into thin hair.

Bra and slip from the 'Just Magic Moonshadow' line by Palmers, FW2010/11. Photo: (C) Palmers.

'Eau de Lavande' (after an original receipt from 1892, made of natural aromatic substances) for men and women by Filz, SS2010. The Viennese perfumery Filz was founded by Anton Filz on 23rd April 1809. It was Vienna's first perfumery and became famous by providing own creations of creams, soaps, pomades, and fragrances for the guests of the Wiener Kongress (1814 - 1815). Since April 2009, Helga Zmrzlik-Filz and her daugther Angelika Liebhart are the new directors of the perfumery Filz. On occasion of the 200th anniversary, the perfumery has re-released the 'Eau de Lavande' after an original receipt by Filz from 1892. 'Eau de Lavande' was available until the beginning of World-War II. Unfortunately, there exists no representation of the flacon from the 19th century. The perfumery reports that the scent was described in former times as a 'fine, refreshing, natural scent with notes of lavender for men and women'.

'Dexter Messenger' bag made of recycled truck tarpaulins by the Swiss label 'Freitag', SS2010. Photo: Peter Würmli.

Green t-shirt in glamour-rock style with the decorative saying 'Wild Heart' by the Austrian label 'Heartblood', SS2010. Photo: (C) Heartblood. In the Austrian alps in Tyrol (Zillertal at Fügen) based designer Sabine Haun has founded her label in 2008. She uses for her shirts certified 'Organic Cotton' and decorates them with crystals and rivets. The motto of Heartblood is 'Glamour meets Streetstyle'.

Sunglasses from the 'Postcards' collection by Prada, SS2010. Photo: Prada. Each of the six different colored 'Postcards' sunglasses pays homage to a favored holiday destination and links it to a metropolis: Milan/Forte dei Marmi is represented by grey glasses with a green frame; Los Angeles is linked with pale pink frames to Santa Monica; Manhattan with transparent frames and glasses in rosé to Montauk; Paris/Biarritz has inspired Prada to transparent frames and light grey glasses; London/Cornwall is visualized by grey-transparent frames and orange colored glasses; and the shades on this page are a tribute to Lisbon/Setùbal.
