Movement, sports, safety are topics in Austria. MAK Museum of Applied Arts Vienna included woom children's bikes known for their safety features in the collection. Safety is a theme for the co-founder of the Austrian company woom and designer of the woom children's bikes Christian Bezdeka who calculated from statistical data geometrical proportions in relation to age and body height for the design of a child-friendly bike frame. Applied arts in practice: Fashion.at visited the '(Con)temporary Fashion Showcase' for the preview of the new fashion hub for exhibitions and exchange at the MAK branch Geymüllerschlössel in Vienna At the entry of the Geymüllerschlössel, a branch of the Museum of Applied Arts Vienna, visitors will see the first piece of the exhibition of architect and designer Julia Koerner's work, a 3D printer at the museum shop where vases in the edition of 65 pieces are available. Fashion.at bought by the way the very first vase from the edition showing a similar surface like the pedestals which carry the art-design pieces at the cupola room of the summer palace Geymüllerschlössel.
